Client Overview
Lincolnshire Pet Crematorium (LPC) is a dedicated pet cremation service based in Kirton, near Boston, Lincolnshire. They offer compassionate and dignified farewells for pets, understanding the grief associated with losing a beloved animal companion.
LPC also features a "Chapel of Rest" or quiet room, allowing owners a private space to say their final goodbyes. As a member of The National Federation of Private Pet Crematoria, they adhere to a strict code of conduct, emphasising a professional and caring service
Challenge
Lincolnshire Pet Crematorium, a family-run business established in 1989, provides sensitive end-of-life services for pets and their owners in Lincolnshire. They approached PSP with a clear vision for their new website: it had to embody their core values of integrity and trust, which are central to their brand. The site needed to offer seamless navigation across their extensive range of products and services, be accessible on all devices, include a contact page to capture customer enquiries, feature a user-friendly content management system for easy updates and link to their subsidiary e-commerce platform.
Solution
Working closely with the client, we drafted a detailed functional specification for their new website, covering page structure, images, and technical needs. We built a fully responsive site on the flexible, user-friendly Umbraco CMS, enabling effortless content management. We also provided comprehensive test plans and user guides to support training and implementation.
