On 21 August 2025, we celebrated our 17th anniversary with a lively and memorable event at our headquarters, Carver House (named aptly to merge the first three letters of the company’s founders' surnames, Brett Caruso and Joe Verde). The occasion was filled with high spirits and camaraderie, showcasing the company’s strong team spirit and optimism for the future.
The day started in the boardroom, where all staff gathered for an inspiring start. CEO Joe Verde opened the celebrations with an uplifting speech, reflecting on the company’s achievements over the past year and sharing an exciting outlook for the coming months. CTO Brett Caruso followed with an equally positive address, highlighting PSP’s recent partnership with the Kennel Club, which began earlier this year. The festivities embraced a fancy dress theme, with staff members showcasing their creativity through an array of imaginative costumes. A colleague's vote determined the winner of the best-dressed award, with our QA Tom stealing the show in a spectacular scarecrow outfit and he was awarded a £500 voucher for his win.
In addition to the costume contest, staff had the opportunity to vote for their Colleague of the Year. Despite numerous nominations for multiple employees, senior business analyst Colin emerged as the resounding winner, recognised for his outstanding contributions within the team, sheer dedication to understanding all the client’s requirements and ensuring they were all conveyed into the technological roadmaps.
Following the presentations, the celebration moved outdoors for a delicious BBQ, where colleagues connected and relaxed before the highlight of the afternoon began with an engaging game of “Pop or Swap.” Each staff member (with ladies going first) took their turn to select a random balloon floating from the ceiling of the digital transformation offices. Once everyone had picked, each person had the choice to pop or swap their balloons before taking turns to reveal the numbers hidden inside, which corresponded to an array of exciting prizes, ranging from 65-inch TVs and Ninja appliances to Bose headphones.
The day was a resounding success, reflecting PSP’s vibrant company culture and high morale. As the business continues to thrive, the team looks forward to many more milestones. Here’s to the next 17 years of innovation, collaboration, and celebration at PSP!
