The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy asked BLGH to help them set up an SME Engagement roundtable with Tim Dafforn, Chief Entrepreneurial Adviser. Spalding was chosen to host one of only 10 events that are being held across the country, giving this region an opportunity to talk directly to government about doing business in Lincolnshire. Tim spoke to those SME’s who attended the event about issues they are facing locally, EU exit, the business support provision in the area and their interactions with government.
Noreen Read, Team Leader and Growth Hub Team Leader for GLLEP and Lincolnshire County Council organised and attended the event at PSP Business Services and said afterwards…
“I can honestly think of no better place that we could have held this prestigious event which was definitely a feather in the cap of Lincolnshire. Thank you so much, your professionalism and support made what would have been an interesting day into a great day. Everything went well: Easy booking; clear communication; friendly greeting; planning for parking; wonderful facilities – many commented they were the best they had seen in the district; great catering – everything. The delegates were therefore relaxed, open and in a mind to contribute. PSP obviously have exceptionally high standards, a high degree of planning for your clients comfort and great customer service skills.”
