Birthday Celebrations at Market Rasen with Tom Jones

On August 16th, PSP’s management team and their guests enjoyed an unforgettable day trip to Market Rasen Racecourse in the sunny and picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds. The outing combined the thrill of horse racing for the afternoon, with a spectacular evening performance by the legendary Tom Jones, headlining after the races. The group were treated to an exclusive experience in a private hospitality box, offering front-row views of the racecourse and the concert stage, ensuring an afternoon and evening filled with entertainment and luxury. 

The event, hosted by The Jockey Club, featured a six-race program followed by Tom Jones’ headline performance, a highlight of Market Rasen’s 2025 season. Guests indulged in gourmet dining and exceptional service, which was tailored to create a memorable experience for all. The stunning racecourse’s countryside backdrop and lively atmosphere added to the occasion, making it a perfect blend of sport and entertainment.

A special highlight was the celebration of PSP's office manager, Fiona Verde’s, birthday. In a delightful surprise, Fiona was selected by the course manager to choose the best turned out horse for the first race of the day and to present the price to the winner, adding a personal touch to the group’s experience. 

The evening culminated with Tom Jones’ powerhouse performance, where the iconic singer (who is now incredibly 85!) got the crowd of all ages singing along to some of his most famous records like Delilah. PSP’s management and guests left with lasting memories of a day filled with racing thrills, musical brilliance and a special birthday celebration for Fiona.
