Lifting Systems, a company reliant on a cumbersome paper-based and Excel-driven system for managing purchase orders and jobs, turned to PSP to modernise their operations. They needed a tailored CRM solution to replace these outdated processes, streamline their workflows and boost efficiency.

Their requirements included user profile management with custom permissions, customer management, in-app emailing, job and workflow tracking, supplier management, purchase order creation and precise task management with progress updates.

We began by holding in-depth workshops at Lifting Systems’ premises to get a clear picture of their daily operations and needs. From these discussions, we crafted a detailed functional specification to guide the development and rigorous testing of a customised VISION CRM solution.

The system was designed to centralise purchase order creation, linking them to jobs and tracking delivery dates. It also monitored job workflow statuses and milestones to ensure timely completion. The solution included modules for managing all of their initial and exacting requirements.

The VISION CRM transformed Lifting Systems’ operations, replacing their clunky paper and Excel systems with a streamlined, digital platform. Managing customer and contact details became effortless, while job statuses and progress were now clearly visible, saving significant time on data handling.

Purchase orders and job updates were easily accessible and task completion could be tracked against deadlines with performance reports. The system also simplified supplier management, offering clear insights into spending, delivery performance and purchase history, enabling better decision-making and improved operational efficiency.
