The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is a renowned professional body offering globally recognised qualifications in accounting and finance. They enlisted PSP to review their IT infrastructure, aiming to improve operational efficiency, identify cost-saving opportunities, and streamline their overall IT framework.
Challenge
AAT’s IT infrastructure had grown overly complex, with multiple servers, overlapping systems, and various third-party service contracts. The lack of a cohesive IT strategy resulted in underutilised resources, redundant functionalities, and escalating operating costs. AAT sought PSP’s expertise to simplify their IT environment, reduce unnecessary expenses, and establish a more efficient system.
Solution
PSP’s CTO led a detailed review of AAT’s IT systems, focusing on identifying inefficiencies. We found several underused or obsolete servers that could be decommissioned to cut maintenance costs.
