The Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC) is widely recognised as the voice of the UK industry, with a membership of around 700 fresh produce businesses. To elevate their event management capabilities and enhance administrative workflows, FPC sought an integrated system for managing memberships, finances and event registrations while ensuring a smooth experience for both users and staff. They collaborated with PSP to create a bespoke finance and events management solution which was fully integrated with their website to centralise operations.
Initially, FPC's finance and events management was mostly manual and laborious. For example, when users applied for membership or signed up for events, their information was entered manually into different systems, resulting in duplicate records, inconsistencies in data and an overwhelming administrative workload. The client required a contemporary solution to link data from their website and events management system to optimise their membership management processes.
