The Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) sought PSP’s expertise to upgrade its outdated membership management system. As a leading professional body, CICM needed an efficient solution to reduce manual reporting tasks and improve overall system functionality.
CICM’s legacy system required staff to manually extract data for reporting, a process that could take up to half a day to complete. This inefficiency resulted in wasted time and increased administrative overhead, limiting their ability to focus on more strategic tasks.
To address this, PSP enhanced the system’s reporting capabilities, allowing reports to run automatically on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. These reports were scheduled overnight, ensuring the data was available in managers’ inboxes by the start of the day. Additionally, PSP integrated a data warehouse that extracted data from the legacy system and displayed it on an interactive dashboard, providing a modern user interface for easier data access.
The improved system saved CICM the cost of replacing their legacy infrastructure, potentially saving hundreds of thousands of pounds. The automated reporting feature reduced administrative work by as much as 20 hours per week, while the new dashboard offered staff a more user-friendly way to view and analyse data.
PSP’s solution allowed CICM to retain their existing system while significantly improving its functionality. By automating manual processes and modernising the data interface, PSP helped CICM reduce costs, save time, and improve operational efficiency. This project underscores PSP’s ability to enhance legacy systems with minimal disruption, ensuring long-term value and support for professional organisations like CICM.
