This year's South Holland Business Awards was a night to remember, and to say it exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. Being named winners of both the Supporting the Community Award (a recognition we’ve been nominated for over the last three years and one that holds deep personal meaning) and the Business of the Year Award is a testament to our dedication to our community and exceptional business achievements. We are truly humbled and grateful for this recognition.
Making a Difference in the Community
Winning the Supporting the Community Award reflects our commitment to leaving a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children in our community.
Giving back to the community has always been a fundamental part of who we are. Over the years, as our business has grown, so has our commitment to local charitable initiatives. Supporting children in care throughout Lincolnshire remains one of our closest causes and we are honoured to play a small role in enhancing the lives of those in the care system.
In 2024, we marked our third and largest year supporting local children’s homes. With increased turnover came the opportunity to expand our contributions and we now proudly support six homes caring for up to 40 children. These children are supported by a team of 124 dedicated carers who work tirelessly to ensure their needs are met.
Our focus is to create moments of joy for these children, ensuring they can celebrate birthdays, holidays and special occasions as any child should. Over the last year, we have provided each child with £100 for their birthdays and Christmas and organised special summer outings for the children and their carers. Seasonal treats, including over 145 Easter eggs and Halloween goodies, have also been delivered to bring extra cheer.
Celebrating Business Success
We were delighted when our significant business growth and recent successes were recognised with the Business of the Year Award.
Since our beginnings in 2008, our passion for driving digital transformation has fuelled our growth. More than service providers, we strive to act as strategic partners, guiding our clients through complex IT transitions and rescuing struggling projects. Our 16 years of innovation and excellence have cemented our reputation as one of the UK’s leading independent IT companies.
In 2024, we grew our team to 34 employees, with the vast majority based in Lincolnshire, reflecting our commitment to nurturing local talent and creating opportunities within our community.
One of our standout achievements this year was launching a multi-million-pound IT project for a global awarding body in Canary Wharf. This initiative focused on implementing Dynamics 365 CRM and finance and operations systems, drawing on our core strengths and challenging us to explore new technologies and methodologies.
We invested significantly in our Transformation Suite to support this ambitious project, equipping our IT project managers, business analysts, software testers and governance specialists with cutting-edge tools to deliver exceptional results. Early client feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the improvements achieved during the project’s first phase.
As we look ahead to 2025, we celebrate a year of transformation and growth while staying true to our values. Our unwavering dedication to our clients, community, team and environment will remain central as we prepare for our 17th year in business.
