The Digital Outcomes and Specialist framework, which will be available via The Digital Marketplace Portal from mid-April, will make it easier for public sector organisations to find the right technology providers for digital projects.
The Digital Marketplace, created by the Government Digital Service (GDS) and the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), is an attempt to improve the way the public sector commissions digital services. The new portal will make it easier for the public sector to buy digital services, reducing the cost and time normally associated with public sector procurement.
The application and selection process started in early December 2015 with the issue of the OJEU contract notice. The final awards were made in February this year.
PSP’s services will be listed under the ‘Digital Outcomes’ category which includes research, test, design, build, release, iteration, support or retirement of a digital service.
“The idea of this project is to give SMEs like PSP the opportunity to support ‘digital transformation’ across the public sector. PSP are proud to be part of this movement and believe our experience in design, development, implementation and support will benefit many public sector organisations.”
